A unique wooden sculpture recently presented to President Catherine Connolly at Áras an Uchtaráin recently is grounded in Galway's maratime past.
Salvaged timber from the Loveen (a 101 year old Galway Hooker boat) restoration project, and piece of new wood-turned Irish birch and ash wood, symbolising the linkage between heritage and contemporary.
Our collections blend natural materials, contemporary design, and Irish culture to create pieces shaped by Irish language and characteristics uncovered in the wood itself.
