Are these pieces handmade in Ireland?

Yes, all our pieces are individually handmade in our workshop / studio in Galway, Ireland using selected timber.  As each item is made by hand, slight variations in the grain, colour and characteristics of the finish make the piece unique.

Can I request a bespoke item?

Absolutely.  We welcome requests for bespoke comissions, from jewellery and charcuterie boards to awards and presentation pieces. Please contact us with your ideas, and we'll discuss options, pricing and timelines.

Can the item be personalised?

Of course. Many of our items can be personalised with specific inscriptions or details. Please use our contact form to send be a message about your chosen piece and what kind of personalisation you would like.

How long will my order take to be made?

Our work is handcrafted and often customised, which requires additional time to make, depending on the complexity of the piece.  We are happy to provide you with an estimated completion and delivery date before the work begins.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship throughout Ireland and the EU using 'An Post'. International shipping, including to the UK, will be confirmed by e-mail.  The cost will be determined by your location.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Shipping times vary based on destination. We use 'An Post' for deliveries within Ireland and the EU, and will provide tracking information for your order.

Does postage and packaging cost extra?

Yes, postage and packaging costs are applied at checkout for Irish orders.  For UK and international orders, the cost of shipping is calculated based on your location. No additional costs are added to the shipping charges applied by the carrier.

Will the item I receive look exactly like the one in the photograph?
As all our pieces are handcrafted from natural wood, slight variations in grain and colour are part of their unique charm. We strive for consistency, but each piece will have its own individual character.

How should I care for my wooden pieces?

What is your return policy?
Because of the bespoke nature of our products, returns are not normally permitted unless the item is faulty. These are natural wood products, so some organic change may naturally occur with time and wear.

What materials do you use?
We use timber sourced in Ireland, which includes fallen trees and salvaged timber, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and local resources.

What are Irish seanfocail?
Irish seanfocail are traditional Irish proverbs or old sayings. We inscribe them on our pieces to connect modern life with rich Irish linguistic and cultural heritage, adding a unique, meaningful touch to each item.
