Signature Wood Brooches

Our wooden brooches are designed and made in Galway, bringing a piece of the West Coast of Ireland to you.  These accessories can be worn on a chunky sweater, coat or shawl.

Handcrafted Wood Earrings

Inspired by Irish culture, symbolism, language and contemporary design

Festival Fun Jewellery

Handcrafted in small batches, these wood accessories are great for festivals and fun occasions.

Our wearable pieces include signature wooden brooches. Inspired by characteristics of the wood, each piece is turned on a lathe before it is engraved with Irish words, sketches or iconic images, to create pieces of jewellery that carry their own story.

Each new piece continues our process of blending new, weatherworn and slavaged wood with contemporary form and Irish culture.  These wooden brooches are a perfect gift for those who appreciate a connection to nature, individual style and supporting local craftsmanship.

Go n-éirí an ghaoth leat

This Irish seanfochail translates as "may the wind rise with you".  It's used to wish someone success and support in their task or journey.

Cuisle mo Chroí

This old Irish phrase meaning 'pulse of my heart' is a term of endearment indicating the wearer is beloved.  It is a beautiful expression of emotional connection

Anam Cara

Meaning 'soul mate' or soul friend, this beautiful Irish seanfochail can be used to represent a romantic connection, but is more commonly used for someone you share a connection with.

Unexpected treasure

We never know what the wood will yield up until we start working with it.  The natural spalting in this piece of beech was a lovely surprise.  It's a pity we only got 4 pieces before it changed.

Revealed from within

Some pieces need little more than wax and polish as the natural spalting is great on it's own.  Others have a simple line drawing engraved into the wood.

a stórín, mo ghrá

This is a beautiful Irish term of endearment.  Meaning 'little treasure, my love', it is an affectionate term to indicate a partner, child or or grandchild is cherished.

Loveen

This beautiful shawl brooch features the iconic sails of the Galway Hooker boat, 'Loveen', which was recently restored to her former glory and is back sailing the Atlantic once again.

Beautiful wood-turned beech with beads on these handmade hat pins.

The pins  look so well on a coat lapel.
